Refund & Return

At Parivartan, we take pride in the exceptional quality of our handcrafted furniture. Every product at our studio is handcrafted by skilled craftsmen with the aim to create high-quality long-lasting goods that will be used and loved for years. Ever since our inception, we have continually designed exciting new products and expanded our offerings as we believe there is no end to furniture designs. We choose carefully from the materials we use and the suppliers we trade with, to the artisans we hire and the alliances we join.

Our commitment to the best quality and most durable product at a fair price is paramount, and we strive to create goods that live up to both our high standards and your high expectations. Our attention to detail in design, material, and construction is unyielding. And so is our commitment to customer satisfaction.

We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment and also require your inspection and signature upon delivery. Should you discover a defect in your furniture, however, please contact us immediately. Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through an entryway/entrance/doorway will be the customer’s responsibility as we encourage you to study the sizes mentioned on the product page carefully and see if the furniture you order fits into your entryway and rooms. We will offer replacement or refund for any defective item/goods damaged in transit within 15 days of the receipt of furniture back to our warehouse. This refund / replacement will be strictly at our discretion Depending on your pick-up location, the processing of this refund can take up to 30 days.

Since mostly all of our furniture is customized as per your specifications, production begins immediately upon order and is built to your specifications. They cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded at any time. WE DO NOT HAVE A MOOD CHANGE RETURN/ EXCHANGE POLICY.

For the safety of the goods during the transit and unpredictable and multiple handling at times, we secure most of the goods with multiple-ply corrugated boxes or wooden crates. We understand that these boxes and crates make the packaging bulky, however, they are absolutely necessary for securing the product. These crates may cause some inconvenience to the customer but are unavoidable. The customer should open the goods themselves or with the help of a local carpenter or a professional and inspect the same. Any defect or damage must be reported to the delivery person and to us immediately by the customer. The description of the defect/damage should be mentioned on the Proof of Delivery (POD) and also share pictures of the defect/damage with us. Please note that the Delivery Personnel are not obliged or authorized to open the furniture or packages. Please note that their duty is to deliver the goods to the customer and they are not directly employed with Parivartan Interiors. You are requested to cooperate with them and not force them to open the crates, packages, etc.

We accept returns only in case of manufacturing defects. Apart from this situation, any item cannot be returned. Items are returnable only if unused, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.

By manufacturing defects we mean, if the product that you ordered is not the size that you mentioned.

Items sold under the “Clearance Sale/Festive Sale/Heavily Discounted/Final Sale” section will not be refunded.

Shipping & Delivery Information

  • For all products, we take approximately 40-60 days to deliver to your doorstep from the day you place an order with us.

 

  • We deliver most items from Monday to Saturday. Once your shipment is ready for dispatch, you will also get an SMS or a call informing you about the same.

 

  • We ship our products to PAN India. We offer free shipping all over India.

 

  • The tracking details and carrier information associated with your order will be provided in your shipment confirmation email as well as the Tax Invoice. Further information on the order status can be provided by our customer care upon request.

 

  • Shipping times will vary depending on whether the item is in our stock or made-to-order.

    • Any damage in transit will not our responsibility.

 

  • You may also get a call from the Courier Company/Logistics partner confirming the tentative date and the time of delivery. However, as we do not have any direct control over the courier partners/ logistics partner, we cannot guarantee that they will act only in a certain manner or will necessarily call before getting your order for delivery.

 

  • The delivery person will deliver the goods to your building premises or wherever it is physically possible to deliver the goods. For higher floors, we are not equipped to deliver the goods to your doorstep. You are requested to arrange for your own laborers/manpower to get the big products delivered to the higher floor. The responsibility of our logistics partners to deliver the large products is restricted to the ground floor of the building.

 

  • Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through an entryway will be the customer’s responsibility as we encourage you to study the sizes mentioned on the product page carefully and see if the furniture you order fits into your entryway and rooms. We will not be responsible if the furniture does not fit/ pass through the entryway/ stairway etc.

 

  • On rare occasions, some items may be delivered outside the published timed windows due to unavoidable circumstances. The approximate number of days for delivery can be interrupted due to unnatural events such as earthquakes, lockdown situations, floods, fire, storms, natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, armed conflict, labor strike, lockout, or boycotts. If such a situation arises, our support team will inform the customers accordingly.

 

  • Product Prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties. However, in certain cases, there could be additional shipping and handling fee if,

 

  •  The product is excessively voluminous or heavy or if it needs special care while transportation, or

 

  • The locality is outside the delivery area. We may charge some additional amount to deliver in the ODA (Out of Delivery Area).

 

In both cases, we will inform the customer about the additional charges.

  • Leather Based Products

    Leather is an ever-changing material that was once alive, continues to evolve as it ages, and acquires various forms. It has been used all over the world for thousands of years in a huge number of applications. Leather is durable, cleanable, and long-lasting, and brings a raw natural beauty that manufactured products simply cannot match. In spite of its strength and durability, leather is not invincible. It is a natural product, and it can stretch, scar, wrinkle, stain, and show scratches. The tanning process can only protect hides to a certain extent.

     

    However, caring for your leather products is not a difficult task as the leather we chose age beautifully over time, and require little care.

     

    There are just a few things to remember :

     

    • Placement of leather furniture is key. Keep leather out of direct sunlight. Make sure the piece is not too close to a heating vent or fireplace.

     

    • If your leather gets wet, place it in a well-ventilated area at room temperature and allow it to dry thoroughly.

     

    • Once the leather is completely dry, use a good quality leather cleaner or glycerin soap to clean it. Wipe it clean by vigorously rubbing it with a soft cloth.

     

    • Regularly dust and/or vacuum the furniture to keep it free of dust and grime that can build up over time.

     

    • Avoid sitting on the arms or edges of furniture as this may cause distortion or damage. Pushing feet against or placing them on the arms may cause damage to the arm or frame.

     

    • Show wood should be kept clean with a damp cloth rinsed in warm water, never use detergents.

     

    Fabric Upholstered Products

     

    To help prolong the life of your fabric upholstered products please consider the following:

     

    • With most upholstery, periodic cleaning of the entire piece is essential to maintain the appearance and prevent premature fading and wear.

     

    • Clean coordinated items at the same time, as some color loss may occur.

     

    • To remove everyday household dust and dirt, clean regularly by gently vacuuming the fabric or by dry cleaning.

     

    • Remove all spills immediately. Blot liquid spills with a clean, dry, white cloth, and work towards the center of the spill. Do not rub or use abrasive cleaners as this may damage the furniture. Should the piece become stained or suffer other damage we recommend professional advice is sought.

     

    • Apply specialist cleaning care products only as directed on the container and try first on a hidden area of your sofa.

     

    • To remove atmospheric dust and dirt that could cause premature wear, clean regularly with a soft cloth or brush.

     

    • Show wood should be kept clean with a lightly damp cloth rinsed in water, never use detergents.

     

    Solid Wood and Natural Veneer Products

     

    Wood is a beautiful natural material. It is important to understand its unique properties; which should not be mistaken for flaws:

     

    • Wood Shading and Grain: Each piece will have a slightly different grain pattern. Variations in color, shading, and grain between different products and within the same product can occur; this is a normal feature of all-natural wood furniture.

     

    • Knots: Knots are a natural property of all real wood furniture; they do not affect performance and add interest to each piece.

     

    • All wooden furniture should be kept clean with a lightly damp cloth rinsed in water, never use detergents.

     

    • Scratching is almost inevitable with wood furniture. If the top of your piece is slightly scratched, apply natural wax. To treat deeper scratches that gouge into the wood, use wood filler available at hardware stores but sought out professional advice before doing it on your own. Match as closely as possible to the color of your piece, applying in several thin layers rather than in one thick layer.

Manufacturing Defects-

  • To ensure that the product arrives intact and in good condition, videos and photos will be sent to the buyer as it is packed and prepared for shipment. Any damage that occurs during transit of the product will not be our responsibility.
  • To ensure transparency, the buyer must record a video of himself opening the package for the first time after receiving it.
  • Manufacturing defects primarily include product size; if the product is not as specified, we will be held liable.

Legal Policy-

Any dispute which could not be resolved between the Parties will be finally settled by arbitration which shall be held in Agra, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended from time to time (Arbitration Act).
